Dr. Aniel Jardines is an aerospace engineer with a strong business orientation and a background in artificial intelligence applications for aviation. With project management experience on FAA initiatives in the United States, Jardines brings technical expertise and industry knowledge to his work. As a private pilot, he has an in-depth understanding of operational challenges posed by aviation weather hazards.

Dr. Jardines completed his PhD at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M), where he focused on advancing Air Traffic Flow Management through machine learning techniques for managing the impacts of convective weather. His research led to the founding of AI METHODS, a UC3M spin-off specializing in AI-powered meteorological forecasting.
