Chief Technology & Strategy
Alain Siebert is responsible for setting the strategic direction for SESAR and its implementation in the work programme of the SESAR 3 Joint Undertaking. SESAR is the EU project geared at establishing Europe as the most efficiently and environmental friendly sky to fly in the world. In this position he is also responsible for organising and managing the involvement of the broader stakeholder community in making the right choices with regards to innovation and making sure it responds to EU policy priorities. He oversees the cooperation arrangements with EASA and National Authorities. Prior to joining the SESAR Joint Undertaking Alain started his career as a Management Trainee at Air France and later joined SAS Group as Executive Assistant to the Chief Financial Officer. He was later promoted Manager for Strategic Development under the responsibility of the Chief Operating Officer.
