Speaker Bio

Claus Wilkens studied Aerospace Engineering at the Technische Universität Braunschweig, Germany and received the Diploma in 2008. From 2008 to 2012, he worked as a project scientist in the Unmanned Aircraft Systems group at the Institute of Aerospace Systems of the TU Braunschweig. His research focused on navigation applications for small UAS. Since August 2012 he has been working at the Competence Center Flight Inspection of the Aerodata AG in Braunschweig. His main fields of work are multi-constellation RTK/PDGNSS, flight inspection, and flight guidance algorithms, and management of research and development projects in the field of small uncrewed aircraft systems, and GBAS.
