Speaker Bio

Dirk Mahns is the Chief Operating Officer at DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung since February 2020.

He has held various leadership positions at DFS, working i.e. on operational concepts, strategies, and the development of operational procedures. He managed DFS subsidiaries, including DFS Aviation Services GmbH and The Tower Company GmbH, overseeing tower and support services. Additionally, he served as Managing Director and later shareholder of Air Navigation Solutions Ltd. (UK).
Dirk Mahns holds a degree in Electrical Engineering (Dipl. Ing.) and has completed training as a tower and center air traffic controller.
