Speaker Bio

Eric Billard is coordinating the EUROCONTROL contribution to civil-military cooperation in SESAR Research and Deployment programmes. In support of network operations, his team assist military airspace users, planners. Various tools are offered to civil and military ANSPs (e.g. LARA, CIMACT, PRISMIL) to facilitate airspace planning, airspace surveillance and performance monitoring.
After a military career as Air Traffic Controller and manager of a military air traffic control centre, Eric took various staff officer positions at ministry of Defense level before joining EUROCONTROL. He holds a master’s degree in aeronautical engineering and is graduated from the French War College and the NATO Defence College.
