Speaker Bio

Helena Almeida is a Research Assistant and a PhD Candidate in Management with specialization in Operations, Logistics and Supply Chain Management at Business Research Unit (BRU) University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE-IUL), Portugal. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, both from ISCTE-IUL. Helena has been working in several significant European-funded projects, including the RefMap Project, supported by the European Union’s HORIZON Research and Innovation Program and the ImAFUSA Project, which is part of the SESAR3 Joint Undertaking. Her research interests concern social acceptance, social aspects of technologies, technology integration, urban air mobility and technological innovation.
