Hólmfríður Elvarsdóttir has carved a niche for herself in the field of aviation technology research, beginning her illustrious career with a Master’s thesis at the prestigious KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Her groundbreaking work, titled “An adaptive IMM-UKF method for non-cooperative tracking of UAVs from radar data,” laid the foundation for her future endeavors. Since 2022, she has been a pivotal figure at Tern Systems, initially joining the Research & Innovation department and swiftly ascending to the role of Research & Innovation Lead. Her dedication and expertise have not only propelled her career forward but have also significantly contributed to the advancement of aviation technology.
