Léopold Viroles is the Data4Safety Programme Manager at the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). In this role, he oversees the Data4Safety initiative, a collaborative European program that leverages big data and artificial intelligence to enhance aviation safety. Léopold has been instrumental in leading the Proof of Concept phase of Data4Safety, coordinating efforts among various stakeholders, including airlines, manufacturers, and national aviation authorities. His work focuses on developing new intelligence solutions and methods to improve safety risk management, security, and operational efficiency within the aviation sector.
