Senior Advisor Operational Developments
Olivier Nicolay has over 35 years of experience in Air Traffic Management (ATM), combining operational expertise, leadership, and strategic insight. He started his career in 1987 as an air traffic controller in Belgium’s control towers and at the Brussels Area Control Center (CANAC2), handling en-route and terminal sectors until 2018. From 2018 to 2020, he managed air traffic services at Charleroi and Liège airports. Since 2020, he has led the development of digital towers at skeyes, spearheading the remote tower migration program for Charleroi and Liège, aiming for a centralized remote tower center by 2028. This project is a key part of modernizing Belgian and European airspace, enhancing efficiency and safety in ATM.
