Speaker Bio

Stephen Lloyd serves as Senior Director of C2 Tracking at BlueHalo leading VigilantHalo system development providing ATC, BVLOS, and CUAS applications. Retiring from the FAA in 2015 after 40 years his expertise spans the National Airspace System (NAS), operational safety programs, SMS for piloted and unmanned operations, CUAS, and Federal Aviation Regulations. As a former FAA Executive he led ATO Safety programs, chaired the FAA ATO Safety Committee, and collaborated with the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB). A key member of the AFRL SkyVision GBDAA Team, his contributions were recognized with prestigious awards, including the 2019 ATCA Annual Civilian Team Award, the 2020 AUVSI Excellence Award in Technology & Innovation.
