We are on the cusp of passenger carrying Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) aircraft entering service around the world. Globally, new ATM services will play an important role in efficient, reliable and scalable AAM operations. Urban ATM services can support AAM introduction, scaling and new concepts such as autonomy, whilst enabling other airspace users to continue to operate. These new ATM services will evolve over time, particularly in the urban environment, to enable dependable and sustainable air mobility services.
This presentation will describe a roadmap for AAM related ATM Services, including early Urban ATM services to support initial eVTOL operations and the evolution of these services to meet the future demands of the AAM industry. Importantly, this presentation will describe why such a roadmap is a critical contributor to eVTOL operators’ ability to deliver on the vision of AAM both in the short and long term.
Eve’s work towards delivering this roadmap will be presented, including recent live trials with helicopters of Eve’s Urban ATM Solution, Vector.
