When

14/05

1:00pm – 1:25pm

Location

Leidos Theatre

Event details

This session, intended to solicit feedback from audience participants, will describe how we are automating civil-military airspace sharing. Particular emphasis will include how we (1) gain understanding of divergent stakeholder interests and (2) design technology solutions to address and overcome these conflicts. Interests vary among stakeholders (e.g., ANSP management and frontline controllers), between stakeholders (e.g., airlines vs. commercial space operators), and are mission-based (e.g., need to expand F-35 training to address current and emerging threats). We will also address similarities and differences between the U.S. and other major markets (e.g. Europe) where automated civil-military airspace sharing is an imperative and how we can build on existing ANSP efforts under way.
